At Boreing Vision Clinic, our Lake Charles eye doctor takes your eye and vision health very seriously. One of the many eye care services we provide here in our office is that of comprehensive eye and vision exams, which we generally recommend for patients once a year. If it's been more than a year since your last eye and vision exam, how is a great time to schedule your appointment with us.
Some people think that they don't need an annual eye exam if they haven't noticed any obvious changes in their eye or vision health. However, it's important that you still come in for an annual eye exam because our optometry team has the experience and resources to spot potential ocular health problems that you may otherwise not notice yourself. This could include symptoms of eye diseases or even slight changes in your vision prescription. Either way, an annual eye exam gives you the peace of mind you need when it comes to your eye and vision health and allows us to stay on top of even the slightest of changes. And if we do spot a problem with your ocular health, we'll have a better chance at successful treatment or management with early detection.
Furthermore, if your vision prescription has changed, we want to make sure that we get it updated as soon as possible, as wearing contacts or glasses that don't match your current prescription can actually damage your vision even further. In addition to our eye exams, we offer a wide selection of contact lens types/brands and eyeglass frames right here in our office as well!
If you're due for an eye exam, why not schedule yours with our Lake Charles optometrist today? Call Boreing Vision Clinic to request your appointment or find out more about our services. Be sure to take advantage of our new-client special, too!
